I Feel Obliged To Inform You

Ok, so ITunes just released the first season of The State, like a secret they don't want to get out, I had to do some super-sluthing to discover it. Now maybe you don't care for The State, or maybe you were home schooled and "didn't own a t.v." but The State was a sketch comedy show on MTV when it was cool to make your opening credits on a rooftop with a super-8 camera (read: Reality Bites). And sure it's hit-or-miss, but most funny people doing funny things today were on The State (Kerri Kinney, Thomas Lennon, and Ben Garant from Reno 911; and Mike Show, David Wain, and Michael Ian Black from Stella) so for that reason alone I would say give it a chance, if you care about these things. For those of you who have not been waiting with bated breath for this release, just know that this is the first time in over a decade that one could purchase this show legally, it's not on DVD, they don't run it late at night on MTV, and let me just say it warms my heart to have it again. Now I only have to spend my days wondering when they're going to release Exit 57. And just possibly look for a job.
